Post-pandemic future could mean ‘less real estate’ for Morgan Stanley

Morgan Stanley’s office footprint could be significantly downsized post-COVID-19, according to projections made by CEO James Gorman last week. 

In an April 16 interview with Bloomberg Television, Gorman, who contracted COVID-19 himself but has since recovered, said the leading global investment bank may come out of the pandemic with “much less real estate” after having proven that employees can work from home successfully.
